This page refers to the Dragonfly Cloud Dashboard. The Dragonfly Cloud Dashboard is NOT the Dragonfly Web User Interface which is used to manage the Dragonfly App.
The Dragonfly Cloud Dashboard is a powerful administration tool that can be used to access, manipulate and monitor these Dragonfly resources:
- sites – which are the venues/areas/building where Dragonfly is deployed
- floor plans – which are the data associated with each one of your Dragonfly maps:
- image of the floor plan.
- position of the virtual markers.
- licenses (visible only with specific access level) – which are the licenses associated with each one of your Dragonfly instances.
- devices – which are your Dragonfly instances.
- accounts (visible only with specific access level) – which are the users allowed to manage your Dragonfly sites.
Login
Access the Dragonfly Cloud Dashboard at at this link and follow the instructions on the login screen.
- Supply the username and password received by the Dragonfly Technical Support (which are the same used to authenticate the Dragonfly App!) and press the Log in button.
- Select the Client and the Site within the chosen Client. Very likely you will have 1 Client and multiple Sites related to the multiple venues in which Dragonfly is running (e.g. each Site can be an industrial plant).
- You can switch to a different Site by clicking on your username in the top right corner of the page.
After the login you can change your password by clicking on your username in the top right corner of the page.
Client
The client area will allow you to manage your Sites, Floor plans, Licenses, Devices and Accounts through widgets. You can open those widgets by clicking on the Views button available in the top-right corner of the page.
Inside the Site widget you can:
- see the Name, Description and Id for each one of your sites.
- change the Name and Description of each site.
- add a new site.
- download a PDF or an EXCEL file with the list of sites.
- search for a specific site.
Inside the Floorplans widget you can:
- see the Name, Description and associated Site of each one of your floor plans.
- delete a floor plan.
- download a PDF or an EXCEL file with the list floor plans.
- search for a specific floorplan.
Inside the Licenses widget (visible only with specific access level) you can:
- see the Name, Type, Expiration Date, Contact email and Days to contact of the licenses associated to each one of your Dragonfly instances. Where:
- Days to contact is the number of days before the expiration data on which users will receive a notification email about the expiration of the license.
- download a PDF or an EXCEL file with the list of licenses.
- search for a specific license.
Inside the Devices widget you can:
- see the Device Id, Name, Last authentication for each one of your Dragonfly instances.
- change the Name of each instance.
- download a PDF or an EXCEL file with the list of devices.
- search for a specific device.
Inside the Accounts widget (visible only with specific access level) you can:
- see the Username, Role for each one of the Accounts under your Client.
- change the email address, Role and associated Sites for each one of the listed Accounts.
- delete an account.
- download a PDF or an EXCEL file with the list of accounts.
- search for a specific account.
History
Important info
- To see the historical data on the Dragonfly Dashboard you have to activate the upload of the data from the Dragonfly App to the Dragonfly Cloud Server. To do so:
- Launch the Dragonfly App as explained in the left side menu of this documentation.
- Click on the 3 bars menu.
- Click on Enable data store.
- Click on Sync path with Cloud.
- Please remember that data are uploaded to the Dragonfly Cloud Server only when the Dragonfly App is in NAVIGATION mode.
The history area will allow you to visualize the historical data for each one of the maps uploaded to the Dragonfly Cloud Dashboard.
- The drop-down top-left menu allow you to select a specific map.
- The Show Search/Hide Search button allow to open/close the search bar where it is possible to:
- Load data related to a specific time window you are interested in using the date/timestamp fields + the CLOUD Search button.
- The CLOUD search button will allow you to see data generated by all Dragonfly instances on a specific map.
- Filter the search using:
- a specific time window within the main time window of the search.
- a specific duration for each path using the duration field.
- a specific distance for each path using the distance field.
- a specific activity for each path using the driving checkbox:
- if unchecked, it will show only the activities during which the camera did not move.
- if checked with the “–” it will show the activities during which the camera was in movement and also not in movement.
- if checked with the “✓” – it will show only the paths during which the camera was in movement.
- Sort the results by clicking on the labels: start, stop, duration, distance, driving.
- Clean the search results with the Clean button.
- The clean button does not remove your data!
- Enable the visualization of the path made by your devices with the Show path button.
- Enable the visualization only of the movement data by activating the Driving checkbox.
- Open the Timeline bar where you can visualize the paths made by your device during the selected time window (and at a specific speed).
- If you don’t see the paths of your device, it is very likely that you have not enabled the “SHOW PATH” checkbox!
- Remove permanently the cloud data for the selected time window using the three lines menu.
- Data stored locally by each one of your Dragonfly App instances won’t be touched.
- Load data related to a specific time window you are interested in using the date/timestamp fields + the CLOUD Search button.
- The Chart button allows to open the chart that shows data in the form of bar/pie charts. Using the bottom drop down menu you can select to see:
- Duration bar chart – TBD
- Each device duration percent – shows a bar chart with the percentage of time the device has been seen DRIVING or OFFLINE or STOPPED over the whole time windows.
- Duration distance in range – TBD
- Duration pie-chart – shows a pie chart with the percentage of time each device has been seen as DRIVING over the total time all the devices have been seen as DRIVING
- Distance pie-chart – shows a pie chart with the percentage of distance covered by each device over the total distance covered by all the devices
- Average speed bar-chart – shows a bar chart with the average speed traveled by each device.
- Distance bar-chart – shows a bar chart with the distances traveled by each device.
- Duration bar-chart – shows a bar chart with the amount of time a device has been seen moving (DRIVING).
- The Position button allows to open the toolbar that can be used to manage the floor plan, geofence and markers currently associated with the loaded map.
- Please keep in mind to click on SAVE FLOOR PLAN to save the new metadata on the Dragonfly Cloud Server. Then you will have to PULL the new metadata on each one of your Dragonfly instances by using the “PULL ALL FLOORPLANS FROM THE CLOUD” within the Dragonfly App!
