LOCALIZATION
Thanks to a camera placed on the roof of the forklift and the VSLAM algorithm, Dragonfly is able to identify relevant points on the ceiling, map it and provide precise truck positioning of in real time.
Indoor
Mapping (one time)
All logistics areas are mapped to collect the ceiling characteristics into the Dragonfly’s Map, which is then geo-referenced with the DWG floorplan and distributed among the industrial trucks.
Localization (live)
The Dragonfly algorithm in each truck compares the camera’s video feed with Dragonfly’s Map and converts it into a live xy position with ~ 10 cm accuracy.
Outdoor
Dragonfly receives RTK (Real-time Kinematic) corrections from the base station to achieve up to 10 cm of accuracy.
Don’t worry about sheds, high walls or canyons. Our technlogy is built to perform even il the harshest environments.
PEOPLE DETECTION
It doesn't just see, it recognizes.
See by the cameras
The People Detection technology needs at least 3 cameras (one rear, two front) mounted on each forklift truck, plus 1 wall-mounted camera per intersection to activate the Blind Corner function.
Recognize by the AI
We use a cutting-edge pretrained neural network with up to 80 class detected (person, car, bicycle...). It can be fine-tuned according to the customer's environment and different brightness and contrast conditions.
Scalability
The system supports up to n. cameras, adapting to different contexts and providing complete visibility even on large vehicles.
Specific Neural Network
Our AI is trained and refined to perform optimally in warehouse environments, recognizing the dynamics of logistics flows.
Universal Interface
The system interfaces with any type of forklift, automatically applying the braking system in the event of an alert.
Precise Position
The system is able to calculate the precise position of people, measure their distance from the vehicle, and assess whether they are passing through safe or unsafe areas.

Look inside the box
Onboard processing unit for industrial trucks, available in different versions depending on the operating environment (indoor, outdoor, or hybrid). It runs the core Dragonfly RTLS software, managing real-time localization, people detection, safety alerts, and edge data processing. The unit is typically installed on the truck roof or inside the cabin.
