Accuracy problems
To help you get the maximum accuracy from Dragonfly you need to send us some very specific info so that we can:
- check the correctness of your setup.
- analyze your video.
…and let you know how to get the best results from Dragonfly.
To do so, please write us at techsupport.dragonfly@onit.it, describe your problem and send us:
- the exact version of your OS.
- the exact version of the Dragonfly App (you can see it inside the Dragonfly Web User Interface).
- the exact model of your camera.
- the orientation of your camera.
- the JSON calibration file of your camera – you can find it under the folder
/application/data/config
- the Dragonfly LOG file (
dragonfly2.log
) – you can find it under the folder/application/data/logs
- the Dragonfly PROPERTIES file (
dragonfly2.properties)
– you can find it under the folder/application/data/config
- the raw video recorded by the camera during the navigation – the raw video is automatically recorded by Dragonfly after having enabled the Video recording parameter inside the Configuration tab of the Dragonfly Web User Interface. You can find the video under the folder
/application/data/recorded
. Please remember to click on Stop Positioning at the end of the test to save the video! - a video recording of the Dragonfly Web User Interface while performing the MAPPING process and while performing the GEO-REFERENCING process. This can be done using one of the many screen recorders available online for free (e.g. Kazam for Linux or Nimbus for Chrome or Nimbus for Firefox).
Crashes

- the exact model of your camera.
